Experience of the Doctors

Dr. Bruce Small has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has experience in all phases of restorative dentistry. He has been recognized seven times by his peers as one of the best dentists in New Jersey (NJ Monthly Magazine – July 2002, July 2005, July 2009, July 2010, and July 2011) as well as one of the Best Dentists in America for 2004-2005. Dr. Small was the only general dentist selected in Mercer County. He belongs to many dental organizations and is on the board of advisors and teaches at the L.D. Dr. Kaitlin Small graduated from dental school here in New Jersey in 2000 and has continued her education in many ways. She is now placing dental implants in selected cases for the convenience of her patients and is also certified to use Botox and other dermal fillers like Juverderm when indicated. Kaitlin also does root canals and esthetic dentistry. She has gone way beyond the minimum requirements for licensure and is far ahead of her peers in her clinical skills.

Dr Kaitlin also belongs to a cast gold study club and helps with the cast gold selective /elective for senior dental students at UMDNJ.

Experience of the Staff

Rather than seeing a different person at the front desk or assisting the doctors each time you come to the office our staff has been with the office for up to 26 years. All staff members are extremely knowledgeable about dentistry and can answer your questions about any dental topic. In addition all staff members are CPR certified each year.

Convenience

Our office is located near major highways (Rt #1, 295, and 95 in New Jersey). There is ample parking underneath our building out of the weather and elevator service to the second floor. We have complete wheelchair access including wheelchair lavatories.

In-House Laboratory

It is a big advantage for dentists to have an in house laboratory. In our office we do much of the lab work here for many of our cases and all of the lab work for our cast gold inlays, onlays, crowns and bridges. There are two high powered microscopes in the office that are used daily to check the accuracy and fit of your work prior to putting it in your mouth.

Full Service Dentistry

Due to the experience of the doctors our office is unique in offering a full spectrum of dental services. We are interested in the longevity of your dental care and will suggest materials and restorations that will give you the longest lifetime of service. Sometimes this will be tooth colored restorations and sometimes it may be gold colored restorations. Please be assured that in all cases esthetics is a primary factor and of course you will have input into the final decisions. We are one of the very few offices in the country that offer all ceramic restorations as well as cast gold and direct gold or gold foils which have the potential to last your lifetime. Both doctors have been trained by some of the finest teachers in dentistry and now teach others.
